biography
Rumatera were born in september 2007 when Bullo (Daniele Russo, former singer from Catarrhal Noise) met Gosso's Party (Giorgio Gozzo) and Sciukka (Luca Perin), singer and drummer for Budregassi respectively. Rocky Gio (Giovanni Gatto, former member of Catarrhal Noise) was then recruited as lead guitar.
Former experiences, together with common musical backgrounds turned into a fast creative process and soon the band entered No Shoes Recording Studio to begin the first recording: the self-titled
album Rumatera was released in june 2008. It's a punk rock album with lyrics in Venice dialect, containing 16 original tracks and the cover of the song Picinin by Pitura Freska, featuring Marco "Furio" Forieri.
The song Tosi De Campagna, featuring the rapper Herman Medrano, was also used as a name for the summer tour in 2008.
The tour started in april 2008 and was followed by a constantly growing fan base. The shows are always full of energy and fun with Bullo, Gosso's Party e Rocky Gio turning over as singers.
In 2009 Rumatera released the album My Crew which is currently being promoted by Skateboard Marketing on college and commercial radio networks in the U.S.A.
The new album "71 Gradi" has been released April 25th, 2010. It contains 19 tracks featuring guests like Gianni Dego, Chuma Chums, Dj Tech and many more.
